VOTERS MEETING - Our next voters meeting will be held on Sunday, November 17 following the church service.
UPDATED MESSIAH HISTORY –In celebration of Messiah’s 60th anniversary on November 3rd, we have added to the history we wrote in 2014. The update reflects changes and events that have shaped Messiah in the past decade. A sample copy is available in the narthex for your perusal. If you would like your own copy, please use the sign up sheet and donate a minimum of $5 in an envelope marked HISTORY. You will receive your copy by Thanksgiving.
RUMMAGE SALE UPDATE - The rummage sale was a HUGE success do to the support of the congregation. Thru generous donations and help setting up and the day of the sale. We believe we had record sales of $3,309.00 which includes 312 tickets sold for the raffle basket. The funds will be used for our needy families for Christmas, kitchen supplies such as coffee, creamer, cups etc., food for dinners and potlucks and a tithe to the general fund. Thanks Everyone.
HELPING HANDS CHRISTMAS FUND - This wonderful new fund is replacing the annual Giving Tree project. It will be financially assisting five of our member households that are in need. This year instead of having to shop and buy products for the families in need we are asking you to prayerfully consider financially helping these households during this Christmas time. Contributions can be made using the envelopes provided which are next to the offering plate. Place this in the offering plate. Contributions will be accepted thru Sunday, December 15th. Your donations will be turned into gift cards for the households in need. Helping Hands funds will also be supporting this project. If you have questions please see Debbie Beffrey or Sue Finkbeiner.
CHRISTMAS BINGO!!! - Last year the youth had LOTS of fun bringing you Christmas Bingo. They will be doing it once again on Sunday, December 15th during Adult Bible study. Be ready to laugh, win and have great fellowship time.

GRAVE BLANKETS - Grave blankets will be available for sale from November 3rd through December 8th. They are sold at Zion Lutheran Church, 2255 9 Mile Rd. (between Beaver and Seidler Rd). Prices are: small $30, large $45, and full size (available upon request) $65. Please make checks payable to Zion Lutheran Church. EVERY HOUR TOUR - Join us at St. Lorenz Worship and Event Center for a night to remember with featured artists Featuring Josh Baldwin & David Leonard with Hope Darst and Destiny Worship Music. LIVING NATIVITY - Immanuel Lutheran Church of Frankentrost, 8220 E. Holland Rd (M-46) in Saginaw, MI, will host its 28th annual “Living Nativity - A Journey to Bethlehem”, on Friday, December 6th, 7-9pm; Saturday, December 7th, 6-8pm; and Sunday, December 8th, 6-8pm. This is a free 30 minute outdoor walk, so dress for the weather. Fellowship and refreshments will follow in the school.
